1. Introduction
This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all room bookings made directly through the official website https://hunterbeachresort.com or through authorized booking channels of Hunter Beach Resort.
By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.
2. Booking Confirmation
- All bookings are confirmed only after successful payment (full or partial, as applicable).
- Once confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation email at your registered email address containing your booking details and transaction reference.
3. Guest-Initiated Cancellations
Guests may cancel their reservations by contacting us via email at info@hunterbeachresort.com or by calling +91 9813 151661.
The following cancellation terms shall apply:
3.1 Cancellations Made 7 Days or More Before Check-In
- A full refund of the booking amount will be issued, excluding any payment gateway or transaction processing fees charged by PayPal or Razorpay.
3.2 Cancellations Made Within 7 Days of Check-In
- The booking amount will be non-refundable.
3.3 No-Show
- If a guest fails to check in on the reserved date without prior notice, it will be treated as a no-show, and the entire booking amount will be forfeited.
4. Resort-Initiated Cancellations
Hunter Beach Resort reserves the right to cancel a booking under exceptional circumstances such as:
- Unforeseen operational issues
- Natural disasters or force majeure events
- Government restrictions or safety concerns
In such cases, guests will be offered:
- A full refund of the amount paid, or
- The option to reschedule the booking to a future date (subject to availability).
Hunter Beach Resort shall not be liable for any additional costs, damages, or losses incurred due to such cancellations.
5. Modification of Bookings
Guests may request a change in booking dates or room category, subject to availability and applicable rate differences.
Modification requests must be sent at least 7 days before the scheduled check-in date.
Approval of any modification is at the sole discretion of Hunter Beach Resort.
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method used during booking (PayPal or Razorpay).
- Refunds will be initiated within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation approval.
- Depending on the payment provider’s policies, it may take additional time for the refunded amount to reflect in your account.
- Hunter Beach Resort shall not be responsible for any delay caused by the payment gateway, bank, or financial institution.
7. Non-Refundable Bookings
Certain promotional or discounted rates may be offered on a non-refundable basis.
Bookings made under such offers will not be eligible for cancellation, modification, or refund under any circumstances.
Guests are advised to review the booking conditions carefully before making a payment.
8. Early Departure
In case a guest checks out before the confirmed departure date, no refund will be issued for the unused nights.
9. Force Majeure
Hunter Beach Resort shall not be liable for any cancellation or refund obligations arising due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Acts of government or law
- Epidemics, pandemics, or travel restrictions
- Technical failures or communication disruptions
10. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from cancellations or refunds shall be governed by the laws of India and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in North Goa, India.
